Have you ever had a fig tree? Do you like figs?

Have you ever grown a fig tree or plant? Are they easy to grow? Do you like them? (I love fig Newtons from a kid on up). Anyway-I was looking on Q and I see that they are having plants, flowers, etc. already for advance sale. Well anyway, they have a fig plant. I always want to get one because I remember when I was really young, my Italian grandparents grew figs in their yard in the city. I do not have a green thumb..lol.. but my husband is good at it. (He grows a lot of berries and makes jam out of them, and he takes care of our gardens of flowers and plants outside in the warm months).
