As I've gotten older (refuse to say aged), I've found I can no longer stomach some foods I used to enjoy. Among them are pizza, especially greasy pepperoni, mac and cheese and anything more than just a little chocolate. I've become a great fan of vanilla at which I used to scoff. How about you?

Unfortunately for my waistline I can and do eat everything. Lucky for me I love salad so that helps.

I like simpler foods now. Not complicated recipes or really spicy food.
I stopped drinking soda a long time ago. I like fruit better than I ever have and have vegetables more often. I drink tea on and off all day now instead of coffee and the soda.

On the plus side, I can no longer eat doughnuts. Even if I eat just a small piece of a doughnut, I'm eating that piece for the next several hours <burp>.
Now, if only ice cream had that same effect!

Not all that much. Never ate highly spiced foods, still have no desire to.
I think I eat more fruit than I used to. I love yogurt now. Donuts used to be my very favorite sweet; now I eat them much less often, and find that UN-typical, sweet-ish but less than full-on sugar sweet, is more apt to satisfy me than uber-sweet.
I drink less carbonated drinks. Still don't love iced tea but can get by with diet snapple iced when I have to ;-)

Yes in a way - I like fruit a lot more now it seems. I used to make a lot of casseroles for dinners - now, I am more of a meat and potatoes girl or meat and corn on the cob girl. I also, like just plain ice cream instead of ones with stuff (like nuts, swirls, chocolate chips, etc.). Just give me plain chocolate or plain vanilla and I am a happy camper. And, I don't really care for a full breakfast anymore - just a couple cups of coffee followed by a bagel and OJ.
Cabbage and grapefruit can tend to bother me sometimes now that I think about it. I avoid the grapefruit period, and only have cabbage/sauerkraut occasionally.
But, of course those M&M's and Oreo's - ha, they don't bother me at all !! In fact, they seem to be calling my name more and more - so, I guess I have developed a sweet tooth as well... ![]()

@CAMOGIRL You probably get to have Blue Bell since you're "deep in the heart", but it hasn't come back to us in NM yet. Haven't had a bite of ice cream since they cleared the shelves. Oh, to have some Blue Bell mango.

My appetite has changed as I’ve gotten older. I eat a lot less which equates to simpler meals (ingredients and preparation). I also think my body is less tolerant of unhealthy foods.

Great post. Here in NY/NJ area we have pork roll, also known as Taylor ham. My taste buds still prefer that but my stomach isn't on board anymore.
I miss you, Taylor ham and cheese on a roll. *sigh* lol.

I found that after menopause I am liking some foods I wouldn't touch my whole lifetime! Weird.
