Sometimes it's bit surprising when they close a thread, but usually, you can tell ahead of time that it's headed for oblivion.

 

I appreciate it when they close a thread for commenting, so you can still read the comments that well-intended posters took the time to write.

 

I am never curious when I see a closed topic that I have not posted on.

 

I've been on these forums for a very long time, and have only recently just started posting again. I learned a long time ago to just move on. The mods usually have a very good reason for closing a thread.
