Re: Have You Ever...Paid For The Order Behind You In Line

Paying it forward is always a great thing to do, I do it quietly and always without recognition.

Express line? Maybe. Otherwise, not. How much did you pay?

That is not the point. 100. or 1.00. Pay It Forward and Be Nice.

Maybe not for U. But, yes, I would consider the cost. I'm not made of $$$.

Neither am I, but I try to help where and when I can. I don't ask how much. You can work with what you have whether it's a dollar or a hug and a help to their car. It's not always about money ... it's about caring and how you can do it.

Caring and not bragging about it on forum. "Oh, aren't U so nice". That's not the point.

Well, aren't you in a good mood today! She was not bragging in my eyes. She was happy to do what she did and was expressing that. Maybe to point out that more of us could do a little something.

Preds, you are so patient and kind.{#emotions_dlg.wub} When I grow up, I wanna be like you.

To answer the OP's question, yes I have. Makes you feel so good to do something nice for someone else.

Pay it forward anyway you can, when you can.

ROTFL ... You don't know me very well, do ya'? LOL

I haven't. The car ahead of me at Starbucks once bought my iced coffee. They were running a promo, pay for the person after you and get a complimentary tall coffee. It was a pleasant surprise.

That was kind of you. And no I haven't, but I don't go to Starbucks (hate coffee), OR any fast food places. If I did I probably would.

Yes, if a police officer is in line behind we pay for whatever they've ordered or if they haven't ordered yet we give money towards what their order might cost. We ask to be anonymous.

Re: Have You Ever...Paid For The Order Behind You In Line

Yes I have. There was a lady and her children in front of me a couple of weeks ago at Target and her card was being declined. She was buying diapers, baby food and formula. I put it on my card. It wasnt a lot of money but they were all necessities and that baby had to have them. Most people would do the same thing exact thing if they had the money to cover it.

I was in line at Chik-Fil-A a couple of years ago a lady was in front of me with her kids. Same thing, her card was declined and her total was almost $20. I was going to add my order on and pay for both but before I could even say it the cashier gave it to the lady who was in disbelief and said it was Chik-Fil-A's pleasure to buy her lunch. They are known for doing that around here.
