Does anyone know first hand if the sales associates actually get hours and what they're paid?  Many thanks as Indeed.com is very sketchy and Glassdoor.com is even worse!

I have been #1 in CS where I worked after teaching.  I LOVED Chicos, but the game they play is to run the store by mgrs and the sales assoc. get maybe 5-10 hrs a week.  I couldn't deal with that, though loved the position.

Looking for something I love.

@Sooner,As you know, I taught design, and they have a position open. I quit Belk because of a hateful person that ran past me.  I almost fell into a case and mgmt wouldn't help me even though I had been a top seller for 5 yrs!   Wondering..........

I worked for Talbots years ago,  they gave me more than enough hours..the pay was great! I worked in the store in Westport, CT..a very busy store...loved it..the managers and my fellow associates felt like family...very much enjoyed the experience.

A good friend of mine, worked for the Talbot's in our town until it closed. She has very good memories of her time there.

i have good memories of shopping there.  It seemed all of the associates were happy with their jobs, and it was a nice shopping experience.
