I'll be so happy!!!  My state legislature is now debating whether to stay on DST all year. I'd be thrilled if we would.

Agree!  I like it being lighter at night.  If we were to stay on CST it would be light here at 4 am!!

@Kachina624    I wish California would do it.    My cable feed comes from there.

When THEY go to standard time....all my TV shows are on an hour later.    Ya know....prime time starting at 10pm....    When CA & AZ are on the "same clock".....it's a LOT more convenient for me.

I know this is a minor thing in the scheme of life....but I'm a crabby old lady (!!)  di

@Kachina624     PS.......I just looked at the weather radar....and it almost "looks" like this storm is gonna pass over us slightly to the north.....although the local report still says it will start around 3pm...

Re: Has it been mentioned yet? DST

Daylight Savings Time works better for those living on the eastern side of a time zone. For those on the western side, it can be problematic in early Spring and late Fall.

I watched to see the effect year-round DST would have on my area in West Texas. On Dec. 22, 2022 the sun would not have risen until shortly before 9:00 A.M. on DST.  It seems schools and some businesses would need to opt for a later start time to accommodate for the cold, dark mornings.

@Desertdi    The snow and rain part is going North of us but the wind gusts have already started.
