As much as they were touting it on Today this morning, it might be on NBC.  I can't think of anything I'd like to watch less. If it's private, why is it being televised?

Edited to add:  It will be on ABC

@SharkE I think it will be shown on network stations and cable news networks. I heard David Muir say last night (I think), we'll see you here on Saturday morning, there is a time difference of about 6 hours or so, maybe a late morning service.

Presume all networks as NBC is covering beginning at 6:30 a.m. PDT.

I could only find one reference to ABC carrying it here in the U.S., so I don't know if that's true or not.

It mentioned the funeral would be on at 10am ET Saturday, but according to my TV guide there's a basketball game on at that time.

There do seem to be some online broadcasts planned too.

I would think that most networks would carry, besides the BBC; and cable news networks. Pretty big thing since Britain used to have control over so many other countries, and he is so well known.

I want to watch it and will record it on various outlets, but think the cable channels will have better coverage without commercial breaks (I hope!).

I imagine the news channels will pick up some of it, at least.

I don't think there will be much to see, actually - small service with only 30 people in attendance and no singing, perhaps some organ music.  Seems like it would be insensitive for cameras to focus exclusively on the grieving family but what else will they look at?  The Archbishop of course, and the chapel's architecture.
