...that in less than a year--August 2014--we will be observing the 100th anniversary of WWI? It hardly seems possible. Even to people my age, in their 50's and 60's, who will be around for it, it hardly seems possible than 100 years have passed. And 20 years after that, it will be 100 years since the Second World War. Ours will probably be the last generation that will have any connection to it; we didn't fight it but our parents did. And their experiences have changed our world forever.
