Has anyone else noticed?

I check in with the boards every now and then, but not daily. I've noticed the last couple of times, that the topics seem to be in the order of largest-to-smallest number of replies.

Has anyone else noticed? Has it been this way for a while? Maybe it has something to do with the settings I have (and don't know that I do!)
