Oh! I think I can answer that. One is a weekly occurrance. One is a "Happy Birthday".Gloria Jean's threads, weeklies, are no longer allowed here either so I think they are sticking to their guideline in this case.
I understand what you're saying scottie but weekly, daily or once in a blue moon it shouldn't matter if the topic/subject is religious in nature. All should be treated the same.

Possibly. I do know the thread ran here from 2005 when I started posting until very recently.
She isn't the only one who was stopped from posting religious topics on VP. gloriajean was asked to post her Daily thread on AF. She didn't move there voluntarily. They wanted to accomodate her, and decided that was the best solution.
