Has anyone bought a TV they really like from Walmart?

DH and I have been talking about getting a new, flat screen tv sometime in the near future. I am SO confused about what to look for when buying a new one. I have watched many presentations here on the Q as well as on HSN, and I still don't know exactly what to look for in a tv. I hear a lot about LCD, LED, HDMI, 1080p (or something like that), and other specs that only confuse me more.

I'm just wondering if a tv from Walmart might very well be just as good as the ones sold on the shopping channels. Any thoughts or ideas what to look for and where to buy a new tv? Thanks!
