Re: Has Anyone Used a Makeup Artist?

The bobbi brown bb cream is very yellow.  Maybe her newer foundations are not.  I would ask.

Re: Has Anyone Used a Makeup Artist?

Thank you everyone for your tips and ideas. You've really helped me.

I called the makeup artist yesterday and asked if we can do a trial run and she said certainly. She may not do it in Macy's though because the times she's there don't synch with when I'm available, so she will probably come here. She's very nice and quite cooperative.

I will let you know what I decide to do. You have all helped!

Re: Has Anyone Used a Makeup Artist?

I would most definately have a trial run done.  If you don't wear makeup often ask her to not go too heavy handed with the makeup application.  Be sure she knows whether it is a daytime or evening event as that will change the application.

Good luck and have fun!!!

Re: Has Anyone Used a Makeup Artist?

When I lived in the San Fernando Valley in CA I was lucky to have a makeup salon two blocks from where I lived.  Not only did they apply makeup, they sold their line and mixed a foundation to match your skin that was phenomenal.  The owner eventually ended up as a vendor on Evine.  Glad you are having a trial run, lots of luck, hope it all turns out to your liking and will have it done for the big event and look beautiful.
