They only have one or two electric carts which I need, and they're never charged. The store is very crowded and aisles difficult to navigate. I was in there once when they had bulk nuts on sale. I couldn't find them so I asked the employee working there. He said they'd sold out of their allotment for that day and wouldn't put out anymore until the next day. I decided then and there, I wouldn't be shopping where they had practices like that.
The one out here is quite large but they took over the empty space of another store who left. (can't remember who it was as it's not in my neck of the woods). Also, when I have bought cashews in bulk at Whole Foods there were plenty of times their stock was gone and it wasn't refilled until their schedule mandated it. It's one dude who works that particular dept. I don't go there everyday so yes, it was disappointing but instead I bought the prepackaged plastic and sealed container of same product.

We are getting one in my area the first of next year and am anxious to try them out. I had never heard of this store before. Being from the home of Publix Supermarkets my loyalties have always been with Publix, but I am willing to venture out. Enjoy!!!

Ours was packed the first month it was open, but business has slowed so dramatically that it's easier to navigate the weird design of the store.

Hi Henny
Do you mean 19th Ave.? I don't think there are many fish markets anymore. There's one on Irving that caters to the Asian population, Yum Yum. And the well known meat market Guerra's also has fish. Could you mean the latter?

They have Boar's Head meat, and another poster mentioned the sandwiches, and they are REALLY good. There is a bread there that hubby and I are obsessed with. I think the brand is Alpine Valley and it's Organic Multi-Grain Omega-3 bread. Has a grey colored label on the front. Amazing!! I could eat 4 slices with butter or jam on it just for a snack -- but I don't! It's pretty healthy, too! 70 cals, 0.5 g fat, 2g fiber, 2g sugar, 3G protein per slice. I try to go at a random time on Wednesdays bc they have double sales that day. They always have some time of yogurt on sale, and I've found some new brands there that I like, and they often have BOGO on items. When they do BOGO on my Blue Sky stevia soda, I buy a case......or two.The bakery has decent stuff, and ours has flowers and a butcher. The staff at mine is super nice and will always check for items if they are out or I need extra. WF is entirely too expensive, IMO, so I only buy there if I need specialty items or something unique. Or pastries. Lol! I also love their bulk food section, and they regularly have $1-3/lb off certain types of granola. I don't do a lot of supplements, but their prices on essential oils is comparable or lower than WF. You'll have to let us know what you think if you go!! HTH!
FUTURE, thank you for all the tips!

Thank you all for your feedback! I'm anxious to try Sprouts since there are so few (imo) choices around here. We do love Trader Joes, especially for the holidays!

They are an organic food chain and their prices are lower than Whole Foods for sure. They have very nice produce. I think supermarket produce pales in comparison. I don't go to Sprouts often, but I like them.
