I enjoy Judi Dench and was looking for information on her movie Victoria and Abdul.  She seems to have been very fond of the man.  Living in England she was probably not aware of the gossip.  It looks like he could be a very different man depending on who he was withSmiley Sad

I have a hard time believing anyone was unaware of his behavior.

Well since he's been suspended now, I guess he won't be turning her book into a miniseries, so she has no further use for him.

Instead, she can turn this into an opportunity to signal her virtue and hope to get support for her project elsewhere.

Mika Brezinski (?)  is refusing to move forward with her book deal unless he resigns.

Oh yes, now that he's down and can do no more for them, they are all going to pile on.

I'd have more respect for her if she'd done this before.  And please don't tell me she had no idea.  Not buying it.

It does seem somewhat self-serving on Mika's part, doesn't it?  After all, she'd be criticized by many if she went ahead and dealt with him.  I believe these women, but it seems to me too early for board members of his company to resign in protest just as an investigation is BEGINNING.  If they feel that way, shouldn't they wait for the findings to come in?  It is terrible if women have to put up with this kind of thing to be employed, for sure, but this is just breaking.  Let the company do their interviews and report to the board.

Oh I don't think this is jumping to conclusions.  I think this is rats abandoning the sinking ship.  This is not news to them and they don't need to wait for an "investigation."  They've known this for years.

@Isobel Archer  Perhaps you're right that they all knew.  As for myself, I'd appreciate a more tested and organized presentation of the evidence.  I do believe the women.  I'm a big fan of Lauren Sivan from the program Red Eye.  She's hilarious and a straight shooter.
