@Sage04    Don't you think that's a bit over the top suggestion?

If you think about it, most posters on this board don't show their photo.  I thought of it, but then I thought of people outside this forum who might use it for something.  I am sure with their high security risk, their children come first. I wouldn't post my children, grandkids, or great grands on this board , or any other board.

That is fine if they don't want to post photos of their children.  What they are doing, though, is posting pictures of their backsides and profiles.  I don't think that anyone is forcing them to share photos.  They should just stop being teases and not have any pictures posted.

True across the board, for all celebs and royals, if you don't want to post pictures of your spawn, then don't, not even the 'teasers'. It's gotten to be like some sort of ridiculous game and, I for one, I'm not interested in playing.

ITA! And don't forget the ever-present white smiley face over the face of the child!

Re: Harry and Lilibet

Prince William and Princess Catherine probably have some of the best security in the world and are also obligated by their public duties to share ptotos of their children..

The Sussexes and other celebrities who do not share the faces of their children are doing it out of concern for their safety.  But they probably show the back shots to give their fans a look at the kids.

If they choose to keep their children private, then keep them private. No back of the head, no hearts or smiley faces over their face.

Most of all don’t use their image to drive people to your website.

@Teddixat, I don't like the word "sarcastic" so I won't use it.

Saw Harry when he was 9 years old on the island of Nevis and everyone fell in love with the kid with red hair and that beautiful smile. He's one of my favorites and that will not change.

@Mersha   thank you.   The OP knew exactly what she was doing when posting this.  Stirring the pot knowing the haters would flock to it.   I just cannot understand the vitriol avd hate for this couple.

@Teddixat  how could you not understand it?  They aren't very nice people.

@shoekitty I agree. When my first grandchild was born my DS and DDIL warned her family (who tended to post kids' photos) not to ever post any photos of DS and DDIL's kids or there would be serious consequences and I applauded them for that.

It's beyond me why so many people post photos of family members and children, often without permission.

It's unsafe to do this to children yet so many fools keep doing it.

@Love my grandkids   What would the "serious consequences" have been??

It's interesting how consistently folks come along to post they just don't get it that people don't like the Markles and that these threads appear regularly. Just a head's up, that lack of understanding isn't going to be cleared up by repeated expressions of supposed confusion. Actually, it seems there might not be any confusion at all. Reasons for disliking them have been put out there many times. I guess it comes down to some of us having the temerity to not agree with those who like them, whatever their obscure reasons.

It's amusing. Defending public figures? OK! @stevieb

I find it fascinating that they showed Archie when meeting Desmond Tutu, and Lilibet when they attended the Jubilee. Both events are covered by the press all over the world.

No security issues at that time. Or just another photo op for Meghan?

Good points @manny2 . I'd forgotten about that photo (that we'd all seen a zillion times) of baby Archie with Desmond Tutu. Yeah, they didn't seem concerned about showing his face then, and also that close-up pic of Lili with red hair on the lawn.  With them, it's anything goes for a photo op.
