I recently placed an order with Amazon...I shop on Amazon all the time. The order was two medicated shampoos DH has to use. I rarely write reviews unless there is a very good or very bad experience. I didn’t write a review for the shampoo since it is the same stuff I have ordered many times before. Yesterday I get a phone call from someone with a thick foreign accent...German, perhaps. He starts yelling at me, demanding that I write a positive review about the shampoo he sold me....by not writing a review, I was lowering his positive rating percentage,  and if it drops too low Amazon will charge him more....he was really scary. I am not writing a positive review...but who do I report this lunatic to? Am feeling intimidated. No more Amazon for me....

@lovesrecess, I wish I could help you but I don't have a clue as to who you should contact.  I have no doubt you were concerned about the man's behavior, it was certainly rude and unprofessional, hope someone can guide you in the right direction. Heart

I wouldn't let one person like that stop me from shopping on Amazon. Why should *I* cower and quake in fear?

I would just block their number, and continue shopping on Amazon.

@lovesrecess You in no way should feel intimidated.  He was totally out of line and you need to be reaching out to someone at Amazon to report this vendor.  Search the website for the link to Contact Us or Amazon Customer Service and submit your complaint by email or Chat with a representative.  Scroll to the bottom of the Amazon homepage to look for the appropriate link, it will take a little bit of work to get to the right place, they really don't make it easy,  but DO NOT give up.  This vendor needs to be reported.  I'd be interested in hearing how things work out and if you choose to pursue this.  Good luck and STAY STRONG.

I would email Amazon customer service to report this and ask them for a response in writing.  When you purchase from Amazon you can opt to write a review and/or contact the seller.  The seller should not contact a customer unless the customer reaches out to them first.

By doing this, he probably is violating his contract with Amazon.  They need to know about this, please contact them.

@lovesrecess   I would definitely report it to Amazon customer service.

He’s pretty much just shot himself in the foot by his reaction. Amazon will take appropriate action that will be more consequential than getting a bad review.

@lovesrecess   He violated one of the rules for sellers-they are NOT to contact any buyer via the buyer's phone number.

Amazon provides the phone number to independent sellers, so that is how he has your phone number.

If you go into your account scroll down to "Help" and type " report seller abuse" in the Search Box-it will bring you up to the link for a Live Chat or Option for Customer Service to Call You.

I'd link but it probably would be removed.

Do not leave a postive review.

Let Amazon deal with him.
