Happy Thanksgiving!

[ Edited ]

What are your plans for the day? Smiley Happy

Right now I'm sitting on the couch with DH and we are watching 'Shop Around The Corner' (our DVD). I have a tall mug of black Starbucks 'holiday blend' coffee and wearing Denim & Co's 'green lights' pj set.

For those interested in the pj's the item # is A464977. I also own the navy & grey woodland pj sets too...very comfy and highly recommend! Sadly the red & green lights pj sets are sold out, but for those who had never seen these pj's, at least they can watch the video.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade later this morning and decorating our main tree.sSp_christmas.gif

Our dinner will be prime rib roast and I'm salivating just thinking about it.

It's just going to be DH and I...we're not traveling to visit family and we aren't having visitors either...just a simple, quiet day.

Happy Thanksgiving @Susan Louise! I enjoyed hearing about your day.

I'm sleeping in. It will be a different day for us too. DH will watch football.

We get real trees, so those won't go up until mid-December. I "might" get a few things out today!  Smiley Happy

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I'm about to hop in the shower...I like to get myself ready for the day, then sit & watch the Macy's parade. After the Broadway performances (my favorite part) are over, I'll get in the kitchen--we eat early, around noon.

Just DH & me, nice and peaceful--we're roasting a chicken this year instead of turkey. Still having dressing, gravy, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce. Pumpkin & apple pies for dessert. Some of this is already done. Then we'll clean the kitchen and do whatever we want--which probably won't be much, lol--for the rest of the day.

Hope everyone has a blessed, safe, lovely day...whatever you do!

Happy Thanksgiving forum friends!  Like some here, I am up early to get the prep and organization in order.  I did do some prep yesterday, which should make it easier on me today.   Enjoy the day, whatever your plans. 402076255_122115843476063976_639381361212170361_n.jpg

Start cooking in a couple of hours. It's just the two of us and we like to eat early. After the meal is cooked and ready to eat we usually take the food outside and eat by the firepit, have some wine and enjoy the cool weather. Might watch some football or play a board game later.
