@SloopJohnB  Your dress must have been very pretty. Dotted Swiss is such a nice summer fabric.  My First Communion dress was white Dotted Swiss.

 

     It is so nice that your mother sewed for you. I don't know of anyone who sews their

children's clothes anymore. When my three girls were little in the 60's and 70's, I made most of their dresses.

@Enufstuff   Oh your First Holy Communion dress must have been beautiful.  My mom sewed mine and she also sewed my daughter's.  For the most part. I think sewing has become a lost art.  ✂👗
