We have celebrated this since we lived in Texas, so of course we went to our favorite restaurant where we know the owner.
When he first opened he had a mariachi band, papel picado (the colorful paper cut flags) hanging everywhere, favors, etc. It was one big party and everyone talked and laughed with everyone else. It's different now, with none of those things, but his regulars still have fun!
I always have such a good time, and the food is amazing!

@beach-mom I love Mexican. SO doesn't care for it, so we had pizza. We have several great Mexico restaurants, so many times that's where I go when girlfriends say where to?
