Hi Peaches, Good to hear from you... Well thinking hard about this one, my nurse was here she told me my hair would fall out I will be a strong dose . I will be throwing up all the time, will lose more weight Heck once he see's me this time he might say no way. So I am going to at lest talk to him. Oh I don't see him till Sept 29, so maybe I will get fat it's right after we get home from VACA. LOL!!!!! Well hope all is well with you & DH. Take Care my friend, Deb OH & I will have thrush all the time & more sore's than ever. & the throwing up where Dan would have to carry me to the bathroom. She does not want to discourage me just wanted to know what to expect. She worked 5 years with chemo, So she all said ask him how long I also have. Deb

Hi Deb, gosh almighty darn, at least YOU are going to talk to the Doctor- that sure is better than not. Who knows, just maybe they can give you the chemo and not have it be so aggressive yet give you enough to get things started again- I know the nurse was honest with you but who knows, maybe it won't be as bad as last go. Giving it a go is better than doing nothing or that's how I feel in my book. I mean you've got an option & I'd sure as heck give it a good think, a real good think. Like my husband said to tell you, "Don't give up!!!".. I don't want you to give up, no one wants you to give up!!! Think real hard about this decision, it's huge GF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try to not think about the negative about the chemo, think about the great outcome from it!! I wish that nurse hadn't said all that to you, even though she was being honest, I mean you were aware of that already.. but thank the heavens above you're talking to the Doctor- he's the man, not the nurse.. that's just me...

Oh things here are about the same, nothing much going on to be honest. Piddling around the house this morning.. Hugs my dear friend!!! Vacation for you is soon!! Yippeeeeee!!!

Hi Peaches, I doing good today up to 86.8 lbs!!!!! really trying to put on weight. Well enough of me for now. Let me tell you what happened today here, It is so sad!!!!! We had a huge palm tree cut down and there were 5 baby flying squirrels in a nest. The tree guys took them home and are going to bottle feed them and raise them as pets. I was sleeping & I told Dan they had to have been real country boys. Well Dan felt so bad & then the Mom came back looking for the nest & tree & it was like what the HE*LL where are my babies!!! That was 9:00am & she is still out there looking for them. We don't know what to do. Now the Mom doesn't have her babys & no where to live. We are just sick over this. Do you have any advice on what to do about this. Take Care my friend, Deb

Hi Deb! Congrats on the weight gain.. Am so proud for you! I haven't a clue about the momma squirrel. Not to sound mean but she'll probably move on after a few days. It will be okay and I hope the babies are too. Momma will be alright. Been a long day.. Just got to our hotel room in Knoxville and looking forward to our football game tomorrow and then we'll head on back home.. Hugs my friend!!!
