We're thinking about getting a dishwasher. I'm so use to washing by hand, my friend says it will take no time for me to get use to a dishwasher. Waying the pros and cons So asking hand wash or dishwasher. Thanks

In the past twenty years, I think I've used mine twice. With just the two of us, I prefer to wash and put away instead of waiting for the dishwasher to fill up. People think I'm nuts.

My mom never got a dishwasher...she even rarely used her microwave!

I got my first dishwasher about 15 years ago - I was late to the party.

Now I would have trouble living without one.

Everything gets thoroughly washed and sanitized and no streaks ever. Dishes are squeaky clean.

Please treat yourself and get one STAT!

Sorry, Abby, but she asked for that, hahahaha... I use our dishwasher maybe once or twice a week and in between there are certain things I do by hand- the things that aren't dishwasher safe. My dishwasher is brand new & it works it works it works!

We only use our dishwasher for large gatherings. Generally it's hand washing for us.

I only use the dishwasher if company has been over.

Otherwise I hand wash. I hate having those dirty dishes sitting in there until it fills up.

Maybe if we were a bigger family I would feel differently.

But it's definitely worth having one.

I have been in this house for 20 years, have NEVER used the dishwasher. It's just me and I can certainly wash the dishes.
