Halloween is Coming!๐ŸŽƒ

[ Edited ]

What candy do you buy -- sugar candy like Sweet Tarts or  chocolate -- like Hershey's Kisses?

I try to buy a mixture of both -- I also try to buy it not so far in advance as I will nibble on it before passing it out.

I buy some of both, and I really try not to buy any of my favorites. Really, I swear. LOL.๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ

I buy candy I don't like, like snickers.

I buy those small individual Halloween bags of pretzels.  I like pretzels, but not as much as I like chocolate so I know I'll be safe with those in the house.  I also hand out treat bags with Halloween stickers, pencils, erasers and sometimes even small cans of play-doh.  It's funny, even the older kids seem to like the treat bags!  :-)

I live in apartment on a busy street so we never get any kids here...so I don't buy any candy...unless its for me...lol

In the city, no kids trick-or-treating door-to-door in gated older urban neighborhood. In the country - no kids, no trick-or-treating.

I always buy one bag of mini somethings I like, all for me, usually the Hershey bag with choc almond, Mr. Goodbar, Krackel, etc.

I purchased Reese's peanut butter filled pumpkins.

They are so good that they will not make it until Halloween though.

I bought a bag of those, too.

Did you try one, Daisy?  They seem to have more peanut butter and less chocolate than the original peanut butter cups.

Kit Kat, Reese's, Snickers and Hershey Bars are the favorites of the kids in my neighborhood.
