The stories are so predictable, but the movies are so entertaining! What I really love about these movies is the Christmas atmosphere - the color scheme, the songs/music, the decor, the scenery!! Would have loved to live in a little township like those in the movies...where I could walk to the grocery store or the bookstore. The town square all decorated, and store fronts decked out in holiday decor!
Where I live, everything/everybody is so spead out over lots of land. The houses are decorated and the stores are too, but it is just not the same small town flavor!!

I like when they have to fake the season. They film off season, so they have to fake all the fall foliage in some scenes. They had all these fake potted trees lining streets and fake leaves on the ground in Autumn Wedding.

These days we no longer exchange gifts, rarely put up a tree and barely celebrate - so those movies give me the dose of holiday that I crave. Is anyone else here a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies?

Honestly, No😈
Corny is the word, and a little of them goes a long, long way. Are they already starting, the, run them thru Christmas, or New Years?
I can can watch one now and then, but, why run them, for weeks?

i enjoy some of the hallmark movies......they are "easy viewing" and perfect for this time of the year.
I so agree with this. There's so much bad news and devastation in the world and even in my teeny little family there is heartache - it's nice to watch something guaranteed to end happily.
The settings are so wonderfully storybooklike, if that's a word, lol. I've googled a few of them to see where the real towns are. Of course most of it is filmed on a set, but there are usually views of the actual towns in the beginning of each movie. They choose the most magical locations.

Yes, @Krimpette, I like Mrs. Miracle, too. I like those two from yesterday but, I don't want to see them again soon but I know they will be on several more times before the end of December. I hope they find more episodes that I haven't seen.
Doris Roberts passed away this year or last year, unfortunately.

I've been watching it off and on all weekend, love it, but I get all emotional over the stories.
