@Pearlee Yes we all have our own opinions. I trust my medical professionals to only recommend things that they feel is in my best health interest. These doctors and other professionals have nothing to do with billing or making money.
It's nice that you want to distract @KKJ from worrying about her diagnosis, but the bottom line is that her doctors seem to be getting it right. Hopefully, she will be in the majority that doesn't have cancer.

Had a spot or area one time, turned out it was a normal mass. 100 years ago.
Also had a pap one time and was told it was stage 4 cancer. Then they retested, and it was reported to me, that it was just, "over read". I hope someone thunked that person on the head a good one!! The weeks waiting for those 2nd results were very upsetting.

@qualitygal How scary for you! So did you have to have the mass removed?

@KKJ Nope, it was a normal thing, probably fat! LOL

@Linmo I agree with you. Anyone accusing OP's doctors of money grabbing tactics is terribly inappropriate. Best wishes to you @KKJ.

@KKJ , this past March I had to have bilateral stereotactic biopsies. It was nerve wracking for me as my two sisters, 3 Aunts, and several cousins have had breast cancer. My results came back negative for malignancies and they left "markers" in the suspicious areas. Try not to worry, but I "get it". Most biopsies do come back benign.
Hugs. ❤️

@loveschocolate Glad yours came back negative and hope mine does as well. I too am having a mammography-led biopsy. Is that the one where you lay on stomach with breast in a hole?
