My husband saved my life!! I am so grateful to him as I wouldn't be here today. We were having a steak dinner and I started chocking and he rushed over and gave me the Heimlick and I was like out of my mind at the time as I truley thought I was going to die!!So when he grabbed me to do it he was more on my side not right behind me but it worked and I will be forever grateful.After, my ribs on my right side hurt so bad I thought I had a fractured a rib. I went and had x-rays done and they showed no fractures but just a bad brusie that would take 4-6 weeks to heal. The doctor gave me off until next Tuesday. She gave me pain pills and a pain patch that you wear for 12 hours a day.I am afraid that next Tuesday I am not going to feel much better and she won't give me anymore time off as I have a very physical job have tons of sick time as i am never out. She called last night and my DH answered the phone as I was sleeping and said how can she go to work after 5 days off from work if it is going to take 4-6 weeks to heal? She said well I did give her some time off. If I am still in pain what should I do?
