Re: HURRICANE UPDATES

[ Edited ]

@Barbara-QVC  Thanks for posting the dogs rescue. This morning ABC had him on the news, too. He's safe and healthy!

ETA: @BalletBabe  Your posts last night were invaluable. So thankful you are fine and hopefully survived without power. You must have nerves of steel Smiley Surprised to have endured that hurricane and maintained your demeanor in order to report to all of us. Blessings and many, many thanks.

Still have not heard from my sister and extended family although I'm confident they are A-OK. Hope they are simply without power and will contact me whenever able. Know the phone lines have been too busy to call in past situations so I'm not panicky - yet.

Hope all the Floridians returned to their homes healthy and found their property relatively intact. What a night! Mother Nature really unleased some wrath. Who says Climate Change is not real???

Most of Zephyrhills, where @BalletBabe lives, are without power and some lost cell service!

Just received an email from my sister. Everyone is safe. Pleasantly surprised all of their homes survived Tampa's hurricane and many tornadoes intact! So pleased . . . and relieved for all of them.  Whew! Her cell is very, very low and her home is without power, but who cares at this point? Smiley Very Happy

Thanks QVC for this FORUM which has kept so many of our nerves from shattering throughout the night.

Hope all Floridians are as fortunate as my sister and her extended family. Blessing to everyone who lives in those states and survives such wrath of Mother Nature.

ETA: I've only been able to tolerate FL during my son's holiday vacations to visit his cousins in December when the weather was nice and temperate (many years ago) or for recent weddings (staying only for long weekends). I do love many of the restaurants in the Tampa/St. Pete area!

friend of mine in Punta Gorda just told me that Jim Cantore is wandering around her street. She had a nice chitchat with him. It's real bad down there with flooding, structue damage, huge mounds of debris.

@Estellee    Hopefully that is why @BalletBabe  hasn't been posting.
