Awhile back I was watching an HSN presentation. Don't remember what it was for, but I believe Colleen Lopez was the host.  She asked the model a question and the model smiled and nodded.  Then Colleen said something like "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm going to get you in trouble."  Does that mean the HSN models are not allowed to speak?  I know the QVC models respond to questions all the time.

I doubt that's what she meant.  There is one model in particular, I think it's Ina, that Colleen converses with throughout many of the fashion shows.

Several of the models are Chatty Patty's.😁 I've seen them converse with the hosts, and some of the vendors. Marla Wynne loves to engage a few of them in conversation, and Iman likes to poll a few of them also😊.

So, I wonder what she meant by that comment.  I thought it was strange.  Maybe it's a seniority thing similar to the pay grade comment above.

Could have been anything she was making reference to.  I'd have to hear it to know what it could be about;.

It would help to know the question Colleen asked her.

I've seen hosts ask models questions like, "are these your absolute favorite jeans?"  The host is trying to hard sell, but the model has a responsibility to make all jeans brands look like the best ones when modeling.

I have no idea if this was the case here.  I just know hosts on HSN and QVC are guilty of that from time to time.

During some of Colleen's shows , they have begun to mic the models and Colleen converses with them throughout the show.  They may do this with others hosts as well but I've not seen it.  

Quite honestly it starts to get on my nerves.  Some of the models just talk and talk and start to over take and during one show the 3 models started  conversing with each other and laughing and carrying on and it was just too much.
