HSN used to have the best clearance sales with lots of free shipping. I noticed that is no longer true. I wonder if these disappointing changes have to do with them combining with QVC?

I think the answer is "yes it does". Was telling my wife about this a couple days ago. Used to be $19.95 items with free shipping, now? Saw an item that was the same price as in the past, $24.95 free shipping. Today saw the same item, but it was $7.50 added for the above.

Looks like I will be doing even more buying with my prime account. When an item goes up 30% for shipping? I'm out!

Yes, they are little by little eliminating lots of their free shipping, and it will hurt them. And now our state has HSN charging us tax, will surely be keeping me away. Still no tax on Evine for us. I have been noticing lots of 5.50 and 7.50 shipping fees now on HSN.

HSN and the sleep number bed

Wow, almost a full day of sleep number for HSN. I don't have a reason to watch and I can't remember this happening to me in many years. HSN usually varied their programs pretty well. HSN is really taking on some characteristics of QVC. I like HSN' unique personality much better before the QVC/HSN under 1 umbrella merger.

Elysee is on today, NO free shipping, and last visit it was all free shipping, i think they are morphing into the Q, not a good thing.

I completely agree. The clearance sales at HSN definitely aren't as good as they were before QVC's parent company bought them. I remember the days of getting Jay King necklaces and Terry Lewis leather jackets for under $20.

There  was also a big change in vendors and hosts around that time.

@bonnielu  The 20% coupons are emailed to me because I have an HSN charge card.  I also get extra flex payments, which I don't usually use.

In time, the Q will cannibalize HSN. Shop while you can.
