Ordered 2 items on free shipping day, October 19.  Out for delivery today.  Not sure why QVC's shipping isn't as efficient since the same company owns both.

I have found that HSN is very consistent and reliable when it comes to shipping.  Most times, I get my order in 3-5 days.

I think of HSN like AVIS used to advertise themselves -  we're number 2, so we have to try hardwr.

For me, the first try harder would have to be product - I've been really good at saving dollars this year by buying very little, so I'd have to be really wowed to try any brand with which I haven't already had a good experience.  Can't say I ever had that with HSN, so their shipping doesn't matter to me.

Should also note that for the items I did order this year from QVC, all arrived within a week or less which was just as I expected when I ordered.  I know some want their orders immediately, but I support my local merchants for that.

Re: HSN Shipping

I find HSN's shipping to be much better than QVC's (althought I don't buy much from either any more.

One thing I always found funny was the day my HSN packages arrive...always on the afternoon of recycling day (recycling gets picked up in the AM - every other week).  I doesn't matter when I order things, it nearly always arrives on the afternoon of recycling pick-up - or the next day.  It is purely coincidental - HSN has no idea when my recycling gets picked up and it would not impact their shipping if they did...they ship when it is ready to go.  It is just one of those odd things that makes me think the universe has a sense of humor.  When ever I place an order I just about always know which Wednesday afternoon it will arrive. Ha!

Side note:  Today is recycling day (10 AM) and UPS notified me a HSN package is arriving this afternoon between 2-4.  Life is running on schedule.

HSN was good with shipping before the company purchased them. I’m pretty sure the company is only working to make HSN more like QVC  & not at all the other way around.  We are losing the great things about HSN.

One of these days nothinv thing will be left.

I ordered the TS Philips Sonic toothbrush on Sunday and it was just delivered 20 minutes ago.  They are so fast with shipping things out quickly.
