There is a thread about this someone else on the board but I cannot remember where.  LOL  I posted links to a few articles about this yesterday.

HSN hasn't been doing too well so I wonder if Mindy saw the writing on the wall for her future with them.   It was reported in an article that HSN's net income fell 30% in 2016.  In another article, the writer indicated that both HSN and WW are in need of rejuvination.

@Lipstickdiva  I agree with you that maybe she's bailing. OR, maybe due to the fiasco with their IT division and the Tennessee warehouse last fall, she was told to leave by XYZ date; that mess caused many serious issues for HSN and the timing was disastrous (Holiday shopping). 

As for WW losing money.... I belong and the meetings we have are PACKED... I mean standing room only in the hall and then some. Ironically, ALL the locations have cut back their meetings 50% and yet, people want MORE meeting times. In my state, WW locations are franchises; the cost to rent in my county is over the top....the salon my stylist used to be in paid $33,000 a MONTH to rent the space!! The overall cost must be in cutting in to their profit not to mention the free apps out their and the fact the WW, like HSN, has an inept IT division.

I hope Mindy DOES bring new life to WW; she did a great job with HSN (until recently but that many not all be due to her). Time will tell. As for Oprah...no one I know at WW gives a flying fig about her. Her cookbook is a JOKE and NOT selling well.
