I was channel surfing and landed on HSN and seriously I rarely even go there let alone shop there except for vitamins. Sam the DG2 rep was on and he talked like nonstop - they never once said what size the two lovely models were wearing. The show was on for two hours and not once did they mention sizes, the HS host rarely said a word. he could give Jane Tracey a run for her money but at least he doesn't talk about his family.

@Teddixat. Sam Sabora is one of favorite host/vendors. He actually designs the DG2 line. 8 guess I pay no attention to sizes because I check the garment measurements on everything I buy. Their sizes are all over the place. All I buy there are her jeans

??? The size the models are wearing is irrelevant.
They are there to show you what they look like on various body types ... pear, apple, etc.
The measurement charts tell what will work best for each individual.

I would have no problem if in between all that chatting they deferred to at least saying what sizes the models were wearing. I don't buy DG2 so if I were as a new buyer I would have liked some information. I like sizing information because a lot of manufacturers are all over the place and it also depends on the fabric.

@Tinkrbl44 Might be irrelevant you, but they are not irrelevant to me because if there is no sizing information available and there was no sizing information or infornstion on the fabric, it would make it almost impossible to order.

I could say the same thing about QVC. I generally get more consistent sizing from HSN, or at least I did with Colleen Lopez's line. G by Giuliani is all over the place, but like I said, QVC is all over the place too, and garment measurements aren't always correct either. I buy very little clothing on either channel due to fit issues.
The only DG item I've bought was a top and it was terrible on me. Size was right but the style was for her body build which is the exact opposite of mine. A shirt with narrow shoulders and extra coverage for the stomach looks terrible on me. I couldn't tell that it was like that from the item page.

Seems like an HSN failure to provide accurate information. I've never bought clothing on HSN, but I would have called Customer Service.

I usually buy the size I need based on a combination of what the garment measurements state on the chart plus what the customers reviews say about the fit. There have been occasions when I order more than one size, get them home to find the right one and then send the others back.

I do rely on garment measurements and yes they are sometimes off, but I can usually wear the sane size as Jennie Garth or Amy Stran which is why I made the comment about Sam not one mentioning the models sizes

I love Sam Saboura and his enthusiasm for the DG2 line. He actually designs the fashion and always pays homage to Diane Gilman.
He does an Unboxing live video on FB every week before a show is scheduled and he gets a lot of questions and gives an incredible amount of information. Then when he's on air he tries to incorporate all that information into the shows because he feels what the women asked online more shoppers would like to know on air. I appreciate that.
I think it's the host's job to give the models' sizes during the shows. A lot of the HSN hosts during fashion presentations neglect to state sizes --a lot of the time.
