HOW QVC STOLE MY KIDS CHRISTMAS

December 13th

I was intending to place the order online to be billed to: Pensacola, FL but shipped to Murfreesboro, TN. When I received the email notice @ 4:34pm I realized that it was billed to the wrong address, so I call to have the BILLING ADDRESS CHANGED.

Therefore I called the QVC customer service line to tell them to change the BILLING address only, but to be sure to leave the SHIPPING address the same. I was assured via phone by the rep that she only changed the billing address and that the shipment will still be mailed to TN. She even read back the two different addresses to me.

December 19th

I go online to check to make sure the items were shipped, and I see that they are scheduled to be shipped to billing address, instead of the TN address. So I call QVC customer service line and the rep tells me that she cannot do anything to change the shipping address. All she offers is for me to cancel the product and I asked if I cancelled it could it be refunded and reordered to be shipped to me. She assured me it could happened, then proceeded to cancel the order only to find out that the items were sold out and could not be reordered. Then she tells me that most likely the items will not be cancelled and that once the tracking numbers are assigned I could go online to www.ups.com/mychoice/pr (she even gives me the website address), and all I had to do was register and I could change the shipping address within UPS. So I go on to do that hoping she was correct.

I call to get the tracking numbers and was given them. Then I proceed to go online to UPS to change the shipping address. Then I call QVC back and the rep tells me that I can change it through UPS, I just have to pay to get it done because QVC doesn’t pay for something like that because it costs the company extra.

Therefore, I go back online and paid the $40.00 to get the premium version only to find out that the shipper is the only person that can change the delivery address. Therefore, what QVC told me was an absolute lie; I was not only not able to change it, but I was not out an additional $40.00.

I call QVC back to tell them that they need to change the shipper address and the rep tells me that she is going to send an email, but to just call back because she doesn't know if it will work.

December 21th

I call UPS to see if the package had been intercepted. The UPS rep tells me that she sees no record of QVC putting an interception request in. She explains that it is a very simple process. All that needs to be done is for QVC to put in their account number and zip code and it can all be done online to get the shipping address changed. I asked the UPS rep what would happen if someone at the address just signed for the package, and she said it would be delivered. I explained that I no longer live there, but that my credit card I used to pay for the computers still had that address on it and she said there was no way to prevent someone at the current address to receive the information. The only way to stop it would be for QVC to request that the package be held at the hub and not routed out for delivery.

I called QVC to see if the email from the night before had been effective in changing the shipping address. At this point I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was placed on hold for Supervisor Santiago. Santiago was helpful in that he agreed to send a personal email to the office that handles being able to change the shipping address. I told him that the UPS rep said that if anyone is at that address in Pensacola, anyone can sign for them and then I will be stuck paying for something that I never received. Santiago said that in that case QVC would either refund me the money because it would be a "no receipt of item" issue or they would reissue me the merchandise. I explained that the merchandise is what I wanted and it couldn’t be reissued because it is out of stock. He said that he would try to get the items rerouted and for me to call back tomorrow, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10am my time.

I called UPS back and asked her to track the two tracking numbers to find out that the one is still in route to Pensacola, FL, but the other is scheduled to be delivered to Marietta, GA 30066. She informs me that the later package going to GA doesn't have my name on it.

I call QVC back to let them know that something must be wrong with the tracking info on the one going to GA and was told that they are showing both packages going to Pensacola, FL and that the supervisor was working on my issue and will see if the packages will be intercepted. All I can do is call back tomorrow. I informed her that the packages were to be delivered tomorrow, and that I felt like this was just a stall tactic.

In the meantime MY KIDS WILL BE WITHOUT THEIR CHRISTMAS GIFT! THANKS QVC for STEALING CHRISTMAS!!!!!
