I've shopped at QVC for almost 20 years and I've never been "hung up on" or treated disrespectfully by any QVC CS rep.
If anything, they always went above and beyond to help me work out any issue. This is just my own personal experience.

With the attitude in this post, I can only imagine what your attitude was when you spoke to CS and I probably would have hung up on you too.
Christmas comes on the same day every year, why people wait till the last second to order online is beyond me.

weeks ago I predicted that these threads blasting QVC because the one special gift bought for the kids, grands, or SO did not arrive on time and the poster (who always has less than 5 posts to their name) just has to rant on the forum and tell everyone they will never shop at QVC again.
Life is so predictable isn' it it? Christmas ruined all because of QVC and their empty promises. No fault of course to any poster who waited until the last minute to buy these special gifts that didn't arrive on time.
Are the stories true? Posters who spend big bucks at QVC but never find their way to the forums, do so now so they can warn everyone about that bad, bad CS and let us know they won't be shopping there anymore. Sad that they think we're all going to line up and call CS on their behalf, What other reason is there for a new poster to tell us their stories? Drive business away to another shopping channel perhaps?
I just don't get the motivation for these posts.

I take the "stories" with a HUGE grain of salt.
It's funny how these posters never come back after their rant.

@KathyPet wrote:So maybe I can put a different perspective on this complaint. Tomorrow will be the first Christmas in 44 years I have not spent the day with my husband. He is at UVA Medical in Charlottesville being treated for brain cancer and I drove home to,spend time with my daughter, SIL and grand child. I could barely manage to walk out of his room this morning after he told me he loved me and I should enjoy my Christmas with our grandson. Makes a missing package appear rather insignificant IMHO.
My best wishes to you and your husband and a sincere hope that he beats his cancer!
My next door neighbor lost her husband of 60 years yesterday, unexpectedly.
Things like this sure do put things into perspective, don't they?

Having been yelled at by our insurance members, it's not pleasant at all! We are here to help answer questions, have claims reviewed for an error. Yes things do happen, it was my responsibility to correct it if it needed it. But yelling, cursing and not wanting to hear what we try to say certainly doesn't help. If a shipping department did something wrong, I can apologize but I cannot go to the shipping facility, have them find that item and overnight it.
I can apologize , but I can't personally ship it. It's unfortunate, really and I agree, having something SIT there for 3 days is awful. Happens to all of us.

They need to quit telling people they will get it before Christmas, when they can't guarantee that. If they said that up front, people would and should shop elsewhere.

I feel your pain. I ordered an item on Dec 15th. It said it would be delivered before Christmas. It sat at the Q until Dec 22. Delivery date was the 24th. Never arrived. Another disappointed customer.

I've had many good CS experiences with QVC, and some not-so-great ones too.
But, like you, I have never had anyone there hang up on me, and I've never been treated disrespectfully.

This thread will get the first "POOF" in the morning when QVC opens again LOL.
No line by line explanation of who was rude, offensive, leads to argument, and all the other reasons. Just the hit the big red "POOF" button.
Happens every year ![]()
I might have a zero tolerance mood going on in me right now, because people have a years notice that Christmas will be on the same date as it is every year, so the fury is not acceptable. For those who are FURIOUS that their package did not arrive because you waited until the week before Christmas, welllllllll, maybeeee shopping earlier in the year is the answer?
AND, if by some crazy chance that the 'perfect gift' shows up in December, be prepared to create a pretty document on your computer with a nice picture of the item on it, & an explanation that shipping was delayed and it will be here shortly. I did that for my 10 year old granddaughter for a sweatshirt she wanted. It was from a little boutique that does not mass market. They print in batches. It is going to ship December 28th.
She was beyond THRILLED with my piece of paper with the picture and ship date. She now has the pleasure of opening a gift (yes, I will wrap it for her, kids love to open presents) a few days late. Kids like presents any day of the year. ![]()
Heck, the stores AND the shopping channels have been pumping out Christmas vibes since July! This holiday has become a 6 month long shopping spree.
For anyone who wants for the "incredibly important, world ending if you do not get it" gifts, then order in October.
For the customer service reps who have been blamed, yelled at, sworn at, etc......Thank You for all your service. It is a tough, tough job nowadays. Customer service in any industry, not just shopping people.
Reading threads like this makes me realize why America seems to be such an angry nation now. The most angry people who are raging about not getting an order (or the store line is too long; or their cable bill is too high and they are expected to pay the bill on time how dare they; or drive people off the highway lanes because they are late for work because their alarm failed and they are calling that company when they get to work because the alarm should work right!; on & on & on) are the very people who are raising the next generation of adults.
"Children LEARN WHAT THEY LIVE" is such a true statement.
