A Christmas wish would that QVC would stop touting guaranteed delivery next year.  Every year so many customers are so disappointed.  QVC really can't guarantee delivery because it doesn't deliver the packages.

OP stated this item was not part of their Guaranteed delivery by Christmas so not the fault of QVC for overpromising but that of the OP's for expecting too much.

This thread will get the first "POOF" in the morning when QVC opens again LOL.

No line by line explanation of who was rude, offensive, leads to argument, and all the other reasons. Just the hit the big red "POOF" button.

Happens every year Smiley Happy

I might have a zero tolerance mood going on in me right now, because people have a years notice that Christmas will be on the same date as it is every year, so the fury is not acceptable. For those who are FURIOUS that their package did not arrive because you waited until the week before Christmas, welllllllll, maybeeee shopping earlier in the year is the answer?

AND, if by some crazy chance that the 'perfect gift' shows up in December, be prepared to create a pretty document on your computer with a nice picture of the item on it, & an explanation that shipping was delayed and it will be here shortly. I did that for my 10 year old granddaughter for a sweatshirt she wanted. It was from a little boutique that does not mass market. They print in batches. It is going to ship December 28th.

She was beyond THRILLED with my piece of paper with the picture and ship date. She now has the pleasure of opening a gift (yes, I will wrap it for her, kids love to open presents) a few days late. Kids like presents any day of the year. Smiley Happy

Heck, the stores AND the shopping channels have been pumping out Christmas vibes since July! This holiday has become a 6 month long shopping spree.

For anyone who wants for the "incredibly important, world ending if you do not get it" gifts, then order in October.

For the customer service reps who have been blamed, yelled at, sworn at, etc......Thank You for all your service. It is a tough, tough job nowadays. Customer service in any industry, not just shopping people.

Reading threads like this makes me realize why America seems to be such an angry nation now. The most angry people who are raging about not getting an order (or the store line is too long; or their cable bill is too high and they are expected to pay the bill on time how dare they; or drive people off the highway lanes because they are late for work because their alarm failed and they are calling that company when they get to work because the alarm should work right!; on & on & on)  are the very people who are raising the next generation of adults.

"Children LEARN WHAT THEY LIVE" is such a true statement.

If these complaints are real, from actual customers, which is often doubtful. Many times (? most of the time ?) they are just tr... um, people whose posts have varying degrees of accuracy and/or truthfulness. And the mantra is almost always "you don't get it", when there is nothing to "get." And they rarely return.

If you had read my post it CLEARLY states I wasn't expecting it before Christmas was only hopeful, but when they posted on 12/22/15 that it had shipped I thought maybe it would get here Monday or Tuesday after the holiday.  I got my hopes up, didn't buy other gifts and was LIED to by customer service!!

so therein lies the problem and your anger and frustration are actually misguided and misdirected at QVC.

I feel your pain.  I ordered an item on Dec 15th.  It said it would be delivered before Christmas.  It sat at the Q until Dec 22.  Delivery date was the 24th.  Never arrived.  Another disappointed customer.

no, your pain and the OP's pain are two different things, as "her" order was NOT one that was guranteed delivery by Christmas, as she stated in many of her threads.

They need to quit telling people they will get it before Christmas, when they can't guarantee that. If they said that up front, people would and should shop elsewhere.

This was not the issue in this case since the OP clearly stated that the item "she" ordered was NOT one that was part of the guarantee by Christmas pledge!

Re: HORRIBLE Customer Service

OMG you said it Gabstoomuch. I am embarrassed when talking to my friends in Jamaica and in many 3rd world countries when they refer to Americans as "ugly" impatient, rude and entitled. When I see some of these threads I want to crawl under a chair remembering that this year the Hubby and I didn't even have a holiday, no presents and no family. I am terminally ill, have a morphine pump and couldn't afford any gifts or holiday dinner. I was just grateful to be spending one more (probably the last) holiday together on this planet. OMG and even though I have not been a poster for very long I cant imagine my first posts being so negative on a holiday that isn't even about any of us...well supposedly. My friends in Jamaica and Africa some who have no roof on their house said "arent you Americans the same people who hours after saying how thankful you are go pushing and knocking each other down in stores to get the trivial things you want?" OMG how could I even argue with that and this is exactly how the world perceives this country. I am happy to report back to them there are those on here that are patient, not rude, and totally and lovingly engaging. Thank you from a very ill and poor in money but rich in heart person who once served this country and got nothing in return.

Re: HORRIBLE Customer Service

Aww thank you Bestdressed and NC Bandwagon. I come here on the holiday to just share in reading your holidays and to laugh and enjoy and make friendships. I guess the one blessing about being ill is not having the energy nor the will to foot stomp, name call, shout, chastise CS,and all those other negative acts on a holiday all about Peace on Earth.. I now think of the grand scheme of things and try through the pain to enjoy the time I have left. Does this happen often on here? LOL I cant imagine taking time away to post negativity, initiate negative threads that may ruin the holiday spirit and argue with folks who some have it worse off then myself. You are welcome and glad I had the opportunity to serve in the US Army. I hope that everyone had a nice holiday and the greatest gift one can receive and keep is your health and the health of your family. Cant buy those things at QVC or anywhere. Those other worldly store bought goods pale in comparison.(whether or not delivered in a time we wish)  My Mom said something I never forgot. "There is no U-Haul toting our worldly possessions behind the hearse when we pass on. My holiday lesson for OP is don't sweat the small stuff and be thankful.....and for goodness sake don't blow a gasket over a present. Hugs ya'll

Re: HORRIBLE Customer Service

In six months QVC should post some of these complaints to push sales during 'Christmas in July'.  Smiley Tongue
