HOLY HECK WOW THIS HURTS!

I woke up this morning and I was streching out in bed and i turned my head I guess in just the wrong way and WOW, All the sudden I got this horrid pain that started at the base of my head on the right side just under my skull and the pain radiated all the way down to my shoulder. It made me dizzy and nausous all the same time. I called my Dh and he said that is has happened to him before. I feel like a robot, I have to keep my head facing forward. I can turn my head to the left side but not the right. And if I do i get these insane shooting burning pain. For those of you who are moms its like contractions only in my neck.

has this ever happened to you and how to do you fix it? I have a heating pad on it and I am trying to not move it as much as possible and I took to Advil.
