I ran a wash Saturday that I used liquid bleach on. WIthout my realizing it a bit of bleach must have splattered and now I have a round bleach spot about the size of a dime on the front of a pair of my favorite black pants. ANyone got any suggestions on how to,hide the spot?

Use a Sharpie to fill in the spot.

Yes, there is a permanent black marker that you can use, the same ones that are used to write your name inside the garment (for kids camp trips, etc.).... would probably fill it in very nicely. If it doesn't quite match (too light) the first time, allow the marker to dry thoroughly and do it again! Good luck.... bleach can be a pain in the patoot!

You need to get some of that "splashless" bleach! It's thick like a gel - Clorox.

The only thing you can do,is throw them away.

Not a regular sharpie or the black ink will run in the wash when she launders them. It has to be a permanent laundry marker in black.

Good idea about the permanent laundry marker.
I would also think....aren't there different 'shades' of black?
And wouldn't be noticeable w/ that different shade?
If they're a favorite pair, I probably would do anything to save!
Good luck, @KathyPet!

Yes, there may be a difference, but if the pen is too light, you can go back after it's dry and reapply until the black is close to the shade of the pants. If it's way darker than the pants, then she'll have to decide if it's worth it.
Start out by just putting one or two dots at the edge of the area and wait until it's dry and see if it's close or not. I've actually done something similar and prefer to start at the edge with a very small amount and see how it does and adjust from there.
