Hi all,

Saturday we adopted a male doxie. He is 3 yrs old, was used for breeding and was neutered 2 weeks ago. He is a very sweet dog and gets along well with our other doxie (spayed 4 yr old doxie.)

I purchased a belly band from Pet Depot and have him wearing that inside. Is there one type that is better than others? This one has elastic and velcro to hold it in place but he tries to scoot out of it.

Also, how long after neutering does it take for him not to feel the need to mark things? I have heard 1 month or as long as 3-4 months. We have him on a 2 week trial basis.

Please tell me this gets better:-)

Our older cat does not run from him and stands her ground. The other cat runs and hide.

Any suggestions??
