My son called me this morning. He was in Walmart..early. He asked if I needed anything. They, according to him, had shelves of TP.
He wanted to know if I needed any..I didn't. He called later and told me that while he was here, other shoppers showed up like hoards of locusts, and just about cleaned the shelves off.
I would never overpay for TP. Try to be at the store early before it sells out.
He also told me there were paper towels, Pillsbury AP Flour and bottles of alcohol and cleaning products.
He also stopped in Ollie's. He said the had pallets of flour and TP. I would never had even looked there.

@wildcat fan ..We have quite a lot of WW stores within driving distance here in Mesa, AZ and each one has empty shelves, including, Fry's and Safeway. I don't know where other people who say they have TP live but they are luckier than where I live.

By the way - if you can find it Great Value Brand at Walmart is EXACTLY the same quality.
And I would rather overpay than go to ten stores and not find it.

@Lindsays Grandma wrote:I found a company on line that can ship my favorite Charmin Ultra Strong TP and my question is; would you pay $35.99 + 6.99 s/h (42.98) for 9 mega rolls per sheet?
Shipping could take 3 to 4 weeks, however, if faster shipping is wanted it will cost $16.99. I will run out long before 3 to 4 weeks but $52.98 for TP??? I need to make a decision asap before they run out, what would you do?
If you can not find it anywhere else and it is the only tp that your bum bum can handle, then yes, buy it. Many people's bum bums bleed because of the harshness of certain brands and if that is the case and those other brands bring you total misery, then buy it. Otherwise don't.

Wow! Looks like Arizona missed getting supplied. There are at least three of us from AZ who are SOL. Surprising since the 40 runs right through our state and N.M. and CA seem to be in much better shape, supplies wise. I wonder what AZ's problem is.

@tansy ...Hi Tansy, yes I do and sadly she isn't a whole lot of help. Right now she isn't working and has plenty of time on her hands...but, and I'll leave it at that. Lindsay turned 17 on the 12th of this month and she is my love, smart, witty, a talented artist, great with numbers, wish I could see into the future to know what she will do with her life. Stay safe, stay healthy.
I'm sorry, @Lindsays Grandma.
i haven't been in the stores in the general Phoenix area for two weeks so I don't know if the stores here finally have tp. You might be able to order from Costco...worth checking.
I'm very worried about getting home to WA. I expect to be here through May.

Thanks to each and everyone of you for responding. Where I live in Mesa, Arizona it is almost impossible to find paper goods on the shelves in all of the supermarkets. Naturally since I no longer drive due to health reasons I cannot spend my days driving to every store. Perhaps if the management in the stores limited the amount each person could buy, most of us wouldn't be in the position of not having any. Again, thank you for your suggestions. Stay safe, stay healthy. ![]()

My son and DIL live in WA where the initial outbreak was. They are having better luck with their markets than I am. What gives? 🤷🏼♀️

@FranandZoe ...Overpaying is just about where I am at since I am not in the position to drive from store to store. And thanks for the tip about the Great Value Brand. ![]()

@tansy ...Could it be better management at the stores? If they let people walk out with ten packs each that leaves nothing for those who can't get there early enough for 2 packs. Just a thought.
