Well, I had my cry for the day.

I love little kids, they can make the world such a perfect place with their innocence, acceptance and love.

I'm crying as I type so please excuse any typos.  The innocence of children and the innocence of the elderly...amazing.  Thank you for sharing.   docsgirl

@kathie66 You said it right. God bless the little boy’s parent who are raising him to be a loving and compassionate young man. It starts at home and by example. Thanks for posting @catlover

Younger kids' innocence is great. BF is in memory care and when his great granddaughter is there she gets bored so she goes to a table that has ice water with fruit floating in it and pours a glass for everyone in the common area.  I suspect she loves playing with the pour spout on the dispenser but the residents love it!

He recently moved to a new facility with a church sponsored HS behind it.  At Christmas they would come down and sing for the elderly and made homemade cards and hand them out to the residents.  The next day the staff had the residents write thank you cards back to the HS kids and they were delivered to the school.  I love this type of community interaction.
