I now have one 3 year old Chocolate Lab girl, Lily.  Our precious little Daisy dog left us a month ago.  She was a Brussels Grifon and my best friend.

I am so sorry about your beloved Daisy. May time and Lily help heal your heart.

Our older dog (my avatar when she was a pup) passed during Covid.  Over the years from the beginning of our our marriage we always had a dog or a cat. ....sometimes both.  We decided not to get another at this time.

However I am the grandmother to two cats and will be cat sitting this summer when DD and her family go to the beach.

I'm also the aunt to a pooch and when I go on vacation with my brother this fall, my DH (who is disabled and stays at home) will watch the dog with DS.

4 dogs and 3 cats right now.  We just lost one of our dogs on Thursday unfortunately.

@Tori3569  Sorry to hear you lost a family member.  It's very painful to lose them.

I have 2 of my granddogs here today so I have 3 in the house. These two are so active that it reminds me of watching my kids when they were toddlers. My dog tolerates the them.
