Loving all these pictures!

I have two female Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.  They are  almost six and eight years old now.

We have had them since 2019.  Our two other Cavaliers passed within two months of each other.

We really like this breed, but they can have a lot of health concerns.  The pair we have now are healthy, thank goodness.

1 dog, a 4-year old male Labrador Retriever mix.

The most I've had at one time was three dogs and one human (me).

presently, one doggie (My Reilley, 13 years old) and myself.

0   all I can do to keep myself up . Maintaining house and 2 1/2/ acres.  Animals are like humans demand to much care and $$$$$.   I never would sit down if I had to run after a dog or cat.

I rescue the doodle from the middle of the road one night. She had just been dumped. Their loss. She would have most likely been dinner for the many wolves/wild dogs that roam the Salt Flats. Now she sleeps on a king size bed with her head on a silk pillow.

I understand what your are saying @SharkE , but a dog or cat can bring a lot of joy to one's world too.
