When I purchased my 2 fully HD TVs 2 and 3 years ago, I was under the impression that I would not need a converter box to receive programs in HD.
My building has a new contract with Comcast and as of March 8, we will have HD TV at no additional cost to us. What I don't understand is that Comcast had representatives here for the last 4 days where we had to make an appointment to have a technician install boxes.
I was asked how many TVs I have and given an appointment for late on March 9. At that time I was told that I would not be able to watch TV on March 8 and 9 until I get the boxes.
Sounds strange to me. With my TVs I should not need boxes. But what do I know. Am not very technical.
