@KathyPet wrote:WHere are people reading that the parents are going to,sue Harvard? I have seen nothing on this and as others have stated you would think that the families would not want the publicity it would bring. It would certainly injure any chances of being accepted at another college if their names were made public.
I just did some googling for updates ..... couldn't find anything on parents of these kids.

@Tinkrbl44@KathyPet yes thats why I said my info is from parents who either have kids there or know of the situation. So my info is not found online. So we can classify it as hearsay!![]()

It was a one day story, there were no follow ups and suing would only damage their kids. The experience would stick with them for life. Like with the kids who did a similar thing last year, Harvard doesn't name them. Don't they want them on their campus but they don't want to ruin them either.

THat is a extremely broad and possibly a very inaccurate statement. Plenty of kids who were raised right make very stupid errors in judgement. JUst because a child knows the right thing to do,does not automatically mean they will always do the right thing.
That statement is true except for one thing. If they were raised right, they wouldn't have posted what they posted on social media. I still think these students are just a reflection of their parents.
You must not be a parent of an adult child........
@KingstonsMom Could it possibly be you hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Which is why the only social media I'm on is LinkedIn - no MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, or whatever they come up with next.

Sorry, I have no idea what your post here means, care to clarify?
SInce you're laughing so hard, I hate to miss out on a good joke!
ETA: Guess you're not brave enough to explain your posts, LOL!
If your post meant was I the parent of these students mentioned, yes they're all mine....along with the one who works for the FBI.

My aunt (who recently retired from fed'l gov't) had a high security clearance (background check was renewed biannually) and was not allowed to be on social media.

Exactly! Just look at what's happened to Kathy Griffin. Am I shocked? Mocking celebrities has always been her schtick.
