HAVING A NICE DAY!

[ Edited ]

I'm a So.Cal. transplant to WA state over 10 years ago and you'd think I'd have gotten used to heat. No! The weekend was in the 70's which is awful for me LOL.

TODAY is cool and overcast with a bit of rain for the next few days, yay!

Today was my twice monthly trip to Costco to get my hearing aids maintained and to get my lovely Mocha Freeze at the food court! I just loves me anything mocha so I'm set.

AND my wonderful BIL is getting me a bacon cheeseburger from our local deli! So a good day all 'round!

@Love my grandkids  We moved to Washington Sate almost 30 years ago and I absolutely love it.  I love the four seasons we have, not too severe summers or winters here and tons of green trees.  Love that the beach and the mountains are not too far away.  A very beautiful place to live!

@LuvmyLab Yes it is but I'm still homesick for my wonderful Torrance and Redondo Beach!

@Love my grandkids   Wait a minute, I'm confused.  Are you saying Kirkland, Washington is hotter than Southern California?  I wouldn't have thought that was the case at all.

@Kachina624 LOL I know. But where I lived in Torrance, it was only about 2 miles from the Pacific and Redondo Beach where DS and family live.

Got lots of lovely morning and afternoon ocean breezes! And in some ways when it gets really hot here it is hotter than my native home!

Then again, anything over 71 is too hot for me .

I've also noticed that after I finished chemo in early 2018 that my tolerance for heat and cold is much lower too.

Fortunately I have AC so that helps a lot.

I have never been to Washington but would love to travel there. Is it rainy there year round or what? What is the best month to visit?

DD lives in Seattle and I love to visit.  First thing I want to do is go to The Market for flowers and fresh seafood.  Can't get flowers like that here in TX.  Then visit DS in SO Cal and enjoy the ocean.  Used to live in SF Bay area, close to both.
