I'll be 73 on the 9th.  This week in the mail I got "gifts" from HSN, my Hallmark store and JoAnnes Fabric.  JoAnns was the best.  20% off everything I purchase (1 time-includes discounted and full price items except not the high price machines) so I will be checking out their fall and winter decorations after the holiday.  In the past I found some great items not seen elsewhere.

I do appreciate getting the birthday freebies from all the retailers who have my birthday on file.

Last year, I tried to take advantage of most of them without having to spend money on things I didn't need.  The best deals are when you can walk into a store and just have them hand you a gift, no purchase necessary!
