I distinctly recall that last year our Kroger had Halloween candy marked down BEFORE the 31st. 

Apparently, they felt they had been sent too much and didn't want to get stuck with it and have to mark it down even more afterwards.

Yes.  My local Kroger has a mark down the closer it gets to Halloween.  One day only and on certain candy and size bags.  When I first moved to this area, it was 50% off.  I think last year it was 20% or 25%.  I hope they have it this year.

I saw a commercial for Werther's Original Maple Creme soft caramels, Caramel Apple soft caramels, Pumpkin Spice soft caramels and Cinnamon Creme soft caramels.

As a kid, my sibling loved pumpkin-baked goods. She made loads of cookies and bread for us. I quickly learned to eat sparingly as pumpkin (which is very high in soluble fiber and prebiotics) causes a side effect.

Starbucks rolled out its harvest coffees today! Pumpkin Spice, Apple Pie, and another one I don't remember. They are doing a new iced pumpkin spice latte I may have to try. It is 106 outside so the last thing that I want is hot coffee anything!
