There are many of these incidents reported. I have zero confidence that the current "powers that be" would be willing to do anything that runs counter to what big AI and tech companies want. It is only government that has the power to require "guardrails." Don't see that happening anytime soon. Just hold on....it's just getting started.

I recently read the last book written by Nelson DeMille before his death. The name of the book is THE TIN MEN about robots being developed and tested for military use.

I definitely recommend reading this book. It is not only a very interesting, attention holding story, but it sure makes us think about being aware of our advances in AI technology.

I swear you have to laugh at the stupidity of (cough) men testing these things knowing they have no way to stop them when they get out of hand.

I knew all along I'll never see my SS check when I get old enough.

AI will probably be in Tahiti sipping on a Mai Tai sunning himself with a blonde trophy cyber chip by his side, all on my dime.

that horse (AI), left the barn months ago.

congress will do nothing, too much $$$$ to be had in investments. they don't want to curtail it.

the 'commoners' will suffer, not the elite

AI will take over many jobs, most in the

'white collar' sector.

'blue collar' think amazon warehouse employees etc...

do we really need AI to compose an email, tell us what to wear, what to cook?

are we going to use our brains at all????

its not always correct. so do we trust what it says or think for ourselves.
