Just received this candle that was to be a gift. As soon as I picked up the box, I heard all the broken glass moving around inside. I called CS to let them know and found out the color I requested (black) is no longer available. Rachel asked if I wanted a different color and I said no, just please send a return label.She said as it was broken I need not return and she has credited back to my credit card. So thank you, Rachel.

I hate that sinking feeling when you just know it isn't going to be good. Glad CS were able to help you and not make it any more painful. I have had good luck with the Candle Impressions line of lanterns. Maybe you could find something there.

I just received an order from Archipeligo that had amazing packaging. I ordered 2 complete holiday diffusers (decanters with reeds) and a refill of another fragrance and they were so well packaged that I called my husband to see it before I dug in further. The entire box was lined with heavy weight air pillows (bottom, sides and a top flap you could lift up) with each box or bottle securely wrapped and nestled in additional paper cushioning. All arrived safe and sound and I was delighted. I am keeping the packaging to use with packages I send out so it will be "recycled".
@catter70 Sorry to hear about your experience as I recently received a Jay King necklace that I could hear rattling around before I got the box open. Yep broken with beads loose in the package.

If the rest of the lantern is okay then take it to a glass shop and have them cut some pieces to fit.

Great minds think alike @SilleeMee. Even plexiglass would work. Just glue it in.
