How do you pronounce the word, Gyros or Gyro?

As in, “ what a delicious Gyro”!

They sell gyros at Arby's.   I've notices on their TV commercials they seem to be saying "heroes".  I've wondered about the pronunciation also.

I always say Gyro as in I wish I had a Gyro right now! 😂 I have heard it with an s at the end which was weird to me but maybe that was the correct way. I was too busy eating. 😋

Yes this is what I heard. 👍 but it had an s at the end and the guy that said it we would have to call from the salon I worked at and wake him up up at the place he cooked at  and he would yell at me year ohs year ohs year ohs! 😹

Yum.  I'll take one right now.

Yes, I would say "gear-o" but with a very soft in the throat, almost imperceptible g.

I had a boyfriend with a Greek mom (geez, I had boyfriends?).

It sort of starts with a "Y" sound and morphs into an "H" sound.   Kind of EhROS.
