Good...as it should be!

I think this girl was getting some really bad advice from her lawyer friend and she was naive/gullible...I hope she is able to mend the broken fence with her family so they can move on from this and she can get an education if she truly wants one.

The entire family needs counseling and I hope her parents stop with the 75% booze refrigerator....also the dad needs to stop feeding his daughter liquor in the middle of the night. I do hope Rachael finds some way to get out of that house because it sounds toxic.

That family needs counseling stat. Although, from how it seems I think the damage was done a very long time ago...

I don't think we can take those statements as fact.

They were allegations made by Rachel in her Complaint and denied by the parents in their Answer.

The fact is, the only truth we can know is that this family is broken right now.

I believe her. She didn't get to be anorexic and an obviously troubled young woman living in a home with lots of love and good values. Something went terribly wrong and if a person reads between the lines, there are many tell-tale signs of neglect.

People who drink too much are always good at making up excuses and denial..... I don't believe the parents.

If her father was giving her alcohol, isn't that something that was investigated and found to be not true?

Rachel alleged a lot of things that were taken out of context and unfounded.

I believe they probably had alcohol in their fridge but not 75%.

In the mental health field you see many who have issues that come from good solid homes and two parent homes..who has not had a traumatic upbringing.

Sometimes the trauma that happens is not caused by the parents or anything in the familial home but more of an outside nature..relationship gone bad, bad experience with boyfriend that turned toxic etc.

I am hoping they all have counseling just to get past the trauma this experience has brought and while I could forgive my child..I would never be able to totally forget.

Well, that's good. Since her accusations all turned out to be unfounded, she was probably advised that there was no winning a case built on lies and it would do her more damage to proceed. Maybe she stopped listening to somebody's advice, who was steering her in the wrong direction.
